At the beginning of 1986 six professional musicians formed a band in Hilversum/Holland to make their own music. After a few changes within the group a permanent instrumental core had developed. At the end of 1987 a female singer joined the band to form:" THE TOUCH". The group developed its entirely own style. In their music elements of jazz, funk, rock and latin fused into a firm unity. For the public this resulted in swinging music, while for the musicians it meant room for improvisation and adding to each other's playing. |
